Virtual Psychotherapy Sessions

Build greater peace, inner balance, emotion regulation & improve your reactions and relationships with others

with Anne Segal

Social Worker MSW, Psychotherapist, Meditation Facilitator

I believe in your innate ability to move closer to realizing your true capacities and desires. Working at a pace that is comfortable for you, we will address your goals and uncover your strengths. You will discover a way to move through obstacles by learning to experience the emotions that have gotten in your way, or those you’ve avoided for a long time.

The aims of my work include helping individuals develop:

  • Greater self-trust, empathy and worth

  • Better relationships through compassionate communication and body centered listening

  • Understanding of personal needs and desires

  • The capacity to soothe and heal the nervous system

  • Addressing and working through feelings of confusion (feeling lost or overwhelmed with life)

  • Healing feelings of shame and inadequacy

  • Improving reactions and triggers with difficult people and situations

  • Expanding individuals’ capacity to feel loved, seen and known

  • To bring greater peace, creativity, play and self-expression into our lives

I am dedicated to guiding you towards your full potential.

For over 20 years I've guided clients from diverse backgrounds and walks of life to overcome obstacles and achieve their goals.

Whether you feel stuck in a difficult situation, burdened by a relationship, or overwhelmed by life's stormy seas, my many years of experience and cutting edge approaches will help you heal, and enable you to achieve a higher level of well being.

As you experience feeling seen, valued, and understood, your awareness will expand. As you practice tuning into the emotions at your core, new pathways will open up and guide you toward possibilities you couldn’t see before.

It takes courage to move forward in a new direction.

You may be struggling with your present circumstances, troubled by past events, or you may be worried about the future. We all encounter turbulence at one point or another, but many of us lack the resources needed to address these challenges.

In therapy, my role is to be that resource, that safe haven where you can learn to develop, strengthen and expand your own resources for living a more fulfilling life.

Life can be difficult, but healing happens when we open up to new experiences both inside of the therapy session and in our lives. My empathic approach will help you feel safe as I support you through the emotional work that will lead to lasting change and healing.

As you learn how to access your core emotions you’ll benefit from feeling more confident and grounded in your body.

We are not meant to walk through life alone. We are hardwired to be connected to each other. As a result, learning how to create, maintain or repair our relationships is central to living a fulfilling life. This starts with the often ignored relationship we have with ourselves.

Many of us struggle with issues relating to perfectionism, anxiety, difficult emotions, communication, intimacy, loneliness, life satisfaction, parenting, trust and commitment. My aim is to help you get beyond the obstacles that block you from experiencing greater fulfillment. In order to effect lasting change I will guide through a process that will have a positive impact on your brain and nervous system.

I will help you clarify your needs, and experience how to become the leader of your own life. I will guide you toward establishing the confidence, awareness and skills that will nourish and sustain you as you move forward in a direction that is right for you.

People come to therapy for a variety of reasons such as relationship issues, anxiety, trauma, depression, or a desire to expand their awareness and deepen their personal growth.

Our first meeting will be ushered in on a welcome mat of safety as we experience what it’s like to be in each other’s presence. I will guide you toward tuning into your body, and help you discover how to gain relief as you learn to process your emotions to completion.

Central to our work is our emotionally attuned therapeutic relationship. You will feel seen in a way that will be uniquely right and healing for you. As our work unfolds you will gain the clarity and confidence to venture through new avenues of seeing, knowing, doing and being.

While change requires us to have the courage to move outside of our comfort zone, it only requires that we feel safe enough to take one little step at a time.

If you have been stuck using strategies that aren't working, I can help you move closer to achieving your goals. As you learn how to work with your emotions you will increase your capacity to stay grounded when faced with difficult circumstances.

My aim is to help you discover how to navigate your way through whatever you are encountering as you learn to trust your ability to move beyond the obstacles that have stood in your way before.
